Yukihiro Takahashi passed away on January 14 at the age of 70.

He was a member of Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) that created a techno boom in the 1980s and one of World's leading drummers.

He was born in Tokyo. He had been battling a brain tumor since August 2020, when he underwent surgery to remove it.
