Seeing my pictures, some have asked "Why are you living in the past?"
Me: I'm not living in the past, I'm living the present. But memories from back then are equally pleasant and painful. Back then I was starving for weeks, fighting with paralysis and pain, but I was creating something. Today, I'm still starving for days, still fighting with the pain, but cannot get over the paralysis anymore, so it's very hard to create something. I like to remember the creative, not the beggar.
